Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Stir in warm milk, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour until doubled in size.
  3. While the dough rises, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, strawberries, and jam until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread the cheesecake filling evenly on top.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over the filling and roll tightly into a log.
  6. Slice into 12 rolls and place them cut-side up in a greased baking dish. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For the glaze, mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and enough milk for drizzling consistency. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
