  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (or Gorgonzola)
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve the pears lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture over the pears.
  4. Place the pears cut-side up on a lined baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until tender.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese and walnuts on top of each pear half, then return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until warmed through.
  6. Drizzle with extra honey before serving.
