  • 4 ripe but firm pears (Bartlett, Anjou, or Bosc)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (or Gorgonzola)
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the pears, cut them in half lengthwise, and scoop out the seeds. Place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon. Brush this mixture over each pear half.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts on top of each pear.
