  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (230g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85g) pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, milk, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed; some lumps are okay.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While cooling slightly, whisk powdered sugar and maple syrup to create the glaze.
  7. Drizzle over cooled bread before slicing and serving.
