Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2.53 cups water or broth
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper, then sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  5. Add uncooked rotini along with water or broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10–12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  6. Return the cooked steak along with any juices back into the skillet and mix everything together.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving hot.
