  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (for swirl)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Fold in flour and salt gently.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl mixture.
  4. Spread blondie batter in the prepared pan and drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture on top. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Cool completely before icing.
  6. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy. Drizzle over cooled blondies.
