  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup half and half or whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter for cooking
  • Powdered sugar for serving

  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and half-and-half until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt.
  2. Poke holes in the bottom of each roll to help absorb the custard, then dip each roll into the mixture for about 30 seconds per side.
  3. Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook soaked rolls for 30-60 seconds on each side until golden brown.
  4. Serve warm with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and maple syrup.
