Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ lbs sirloin steak (cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 1½ lbs baby potatoes (halved or quartered)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 5–6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add halved potatoes seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 15 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs, then sear them in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Return cooked potatoes to the pan and toss everything together.
  4. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
