Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim each Brussels sprout by removing the tough stem ends and any yellow leaves. Slice in half lengthwise.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the halved sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture over the seasoned sprouts and toss gently to adhere.
  5. Arrange the coated sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Toss halfway through if necessary.
  7. Once done, transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
