  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Take a tablespoon of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a small amount of cheddar cheese in the center and fold the meat around it to form a ball. Place on the baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup and mustard for the glaze. Brush generously over each meatball.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through and the glaze caramelizes.
  6. Garnish with extra parsley before serving.
