  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel)
  • 1/4 cup water (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for caramel)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (for caramel)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. 2. For the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon; press into the pan.
  3. 3. Beat together softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Toss diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; layer over the cheesecake mixture.
