  • Turkey breast (3-4 lbs)
  • Apple cider (2 cups)
  • Butter (4 tbsp)
  • Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp)
  • Dijon mustard (1 tbsp)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
  • Cloves (1/4 tsp, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and pat the turkey breast dry. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat and sear the turkey on all sides until golden brown.
  3. Transfer the turkey to a roasting pan, pour 1 cup of apple cider into the pan, and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the remaining apple cider, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer until syrupy.
  5. Brush the glaze over the turkey and roast in the oven, basting every 15 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), about 1.5 to 2 hours.
  6. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.
