  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
  3. In one bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, drizzle olive oil over chicken.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place breaded chicken in air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Spoon marinara sauce over chicken and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Return to air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
